Healthy Halloween! This Halloween may look a bit different, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t have fun! According to ACCESS Nursing COVID Clear Services CEO, Louise Weadock, the key to Halloween 2020 is to be “careful and not fearful!” Follow these helpful tips to safely go about your Halloween weekend.
When sending your kids out to Trick-or-Treat (if it is allowed in your area) make sure they are wearing a full body costume, including two masks to ensure proper protection. Also, require your child to wear gloves and avoid unnecessary contact. Once your child gets home, take their candy! As hard as it is to take candy from a child, the candy should sit out for 24 hours before allowing them to enjoy. In the meantime, have some extra candy at home to satisfy their craving!
Handing Out Candy
Instead of the typical bowl of candy, prepare individual treat bags for each trick-or-treater! Separate these bags and set them outside or at your doorstop for each child to take!
The safest way to celebrate this year is to do so virtually! Why not host a virtual Halloween bash? “Gather” all your friends and schedule a time to have a “party” virtually. Turn on the festive music, get out the spooky decorations and have yourself a Halloween bash!
Even if we have to social distance this Halloween, there’s still a lot of fun to be had! For more COVID safety tips and COVID health and screening services, contact: https://www.accessnursing.com/, http://www.covidclearservices.com/; or call 201-706-7030; email firstname.lastname@example.org.
